PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR PARISH

NEW PARISHIONER? RECENTLY STARTED WORKING?
Since the onset of Covid we observe a significant drop-out in return of our weekly Offertory Envelopes.
Also, we very aware that there are a large number of parishioners who do not contribute financially to the support of the Parish. We would like to appeal to all parishioners to contribute – any donation, large or small is appreciated. Parishioners are encouraged to make donations to the parish either by using the parish envelopes or by means of standing order. If you would like to donate using envelopes, please contact the parish office.

Alternatively, if you are able, you are encouraged to make a monthly offering to the Church by means of a Standing Order payable to: St. Patrick’s Catholic Church: Sort Code 95 0361. Account No 62737035. Forms are available in church porches and from Parish Office. For all enquiries please contact Maria, Parish Office – 028 92 660206
Email lisburn@downandconnor.org Information available on Gift Aid Scheme.

We thank all who so generously support us throughout the year. Your support is very much appreciated.

Warm Place – St. Patrick’s Pastoral Centre

ST. PATRICK’S PASTORAL CENTRE
We are creating a warm place every Thursday 1pm -3pm. We invite people from the local community who live alone or struggle to make a hot meal to come along and have a bit of craic whilst enjoying a meal. Maybe you know of a neighbour or friend that would benefit from this?
Any enquiries please phone 028 92 607110. This is a FREE event.

OFFERTORY PROMISE – ENVELOPES

Anyone requiring envelopes for the first time, please leave your name, address & postcode and telephone number in the Parish Office. We would appreciate being informed of any changes in names, addresses or tax status within the past year so that our parish records can be updated.

We would encourage more parishioners to make a monthly offering to the Church by means of a Standing Order to: St Patrick’s Catholic Church, Sort Code 95 036, Account No. 62737035. It is a simple method to set up – please speak in confidence to Maria in the Parish Office on 028 92 660206 or email lisburn@downandconnor.org Donations large or small are greatly appreciated.

The Offertory Promise envelopes, standing orders and Gift Aid are the main sources of income in the parish.
We thank all those who contribute regularly and generously to the needs of the parish.

RCIA (the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults)

RCIA (the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) is a process to introduce the teachings of Jesus Christ in the Catholic Church to individuals who wish to learn more, including the opportunity, if they wish, to become Catholic through the Sacraments of Initiation. In addition, many Catholics attend the programme to learn more about their faith and have found the course to be both interesting and informative. RCIA is a time of learning to come to know, love and develop a deeper relationship with God.

We are currently looking for new members to assist in this year’s programme. You do not need any particular skills or training as there are opportunities to get involved in different ways at different levels. If you would be interested, would like more information or perhaps you have even attended the course before, please feel free to contact RCIA by telephone or text at 07761014607 or email rcia@downandconnor.org .
