ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP – 2026. DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO LOURDES
Lourdes Pilgrimage Office acknowledge our recent donation of £1,452 and wish to thank the parishioners of Blaris for your generous support of the pilgrimage.
Donations help to provide the equipment and supplies needed to care for the sick and vulnerable pilgrims who are at the very heart of the pilgrimage. They also help to support the staff with subsidized fares.

All Associated pilgrims are remembered each day during the pilgrimage.

ST PETER’S CATHEDRAL: Join us for the inaugural tours of St Peter’s Cathedral, led by Stevie Corr, as we celebrate its 160th anniversary! This special guided tour offers a unique opportunity to explore areas of the Cathedral that are rich in history and significance.

Dates are Mon 3, Tues 4, Wed 5 & Thurs 6 August at 3pm each day.

Tickets: £5 per person, payable at the entrance (please bring the exact amount).

Old School Café will reopen on Monday 24 August after 10.00am Mass.

PARISH OF BLARIS – YEAR END DECEMBER 2025 FINANCIAL STATEMENT

Senior ladies play this evening (Sunday 26th) away to St Enda’s. Throw in at 18.30hrs. All support is welcome.

Senior men continue their preparation for the first Championship game against Glenavy scheduled for Sunday 2nd August 2026.

So far this year Lisburn Foodbank has distributed over 17 tonnes of food to families in need in our community! This really wouldn’t be possible without your generous donations and we are so grateful. I am sending our most needed items list for the month of June to share with your congregation.

There are many opportunities to volunteer within our Parish. if you would like to become more involved in our parish
community by serving in any of our various ministries, joining one of our Liturgy Groups, becoming a Member of
St. Vincent de Paul or Apostolic Work, volunteering within our Parish Centre, helping around the church or
within church grounds/cemeteries, gardening. etc.
